Dodie Blomberg is an Adler Trained Coach and a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer who is passionate about helping people create exceptional lives.
Dodie became certified in Positive Discipline in 2004, a curriculum developed by Dr. Jane Nelsen and Lynn Lott which is based in Adlerian Psychology. Positive Discipline has been a big influence in Dodie’s professional as well as personal life.
Using the principles of Positive Discipline, Dodie presents workshops and trainings to teachers, parents and businesses. Her workshops give participants the tools, skills and process to enhance relationships and inspire personal growth. Participants in her workshops and classes describe her as energetic, knowledgeable, passionate and encouraging.
Dodie has recently presented at the 2009 Arizona School Counselors Convention, 2008 North American Society for Adlerian Psychologists (NASAP) Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and the 2009 conference in Tucson, AZ. She currently facilitates teacher training workshops for the Tempe and Gilbert School Districts. She has facilitated parent education workshops all over the valley, from one hour talks to seven week classes.
Moving people towards a more positive life is a passion for Dodie. She has just completed a two year coaching certification process through the Adler School of Professional Coaching. In her coaching work, she focuses on a client’s strengths and values to support clients towards their goals, both personal and professional. Clients appreciate Dodie’s ability to listen deeply, share insights, and especially acknowledge their forward movement.
Dodie has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Adult Education. She is honored to be recognized, twice, in the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. She is also a nationally certified AAFA fitness instructor with over 15 years experience teaching group fitness and encouraging adults and children to be physically fit. Dodie is married for over 18 years to her best friend, Robert. She gets the opportunity to practice her Coaching and Positive Discipline tools and skills daily as a Cadette Girl Scout Leader, a Dodge ball Instructor, and especially as the mother of two great children, Colton 15 and Cassidy 12.
